Please have a great understanding and technical knowledge on how to use this product in order to properly use it.
We highly recommend using an external battery charger for 18650 battery mods, as it helps with balanced charging and prolongs the life of the battery and mod, such as from worn out microUSB port. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with this device. We recommend all 18650/20700/21700 battery mods to use matching batteries with similar brand, model, and battery state at all times.
In order to use temperature control feature, it requires use of nickel, titanium, or stainless steel coils.

My black & gold chopped carbon fiber w/black ostrich has been with me 24/7 for almost the last 4 years. My Significant other has gone through 6-7 mods in the same time frame (2 voopoo DRAG models, 3 from geek vape (Aegis x, legend 2), a couple from SMOK (G Priv updates), and a vaporesso GEN S, I’m sure I left something out but I don’t feel like scavenging the vape graveyard and my “vapenstein” creations for models and brands). I adore the level of control I had with the 250C DNA chip! I put personal photos on it, made my own custom vape themes with extra pages and settings to suit my needs/wants and different versions backed up so I could delete some of the factory written “pages” without worrying about losing those controls or setting permanently if I realized later on they were handy to have. Which reminds me, my S.O. also had a ThinkVape 250C DNA Mod! That thing broke quicker than $#!+ I had barely designed him a custom theme with layout, settings, extras and artwork all from scratch, specifically for him (so my adhd self went overboard and took 6 weeks to finish it, but still…) and I downloaded it to mine to beta test for ease of use before putting it on his mod and the day after I finalized the theme (but before uploading it to his mod) his mod got stuck in that dreaded “ohms to high” loop. SMH. My Centaurus did have some disappointing issues though (as beautiful as it was). After an early drop (6 months in) one of the anchors for the top plate popped out when the plastic anchor-casing chipped and broke off, which left me with 3 working screws for the top plate (NOT the 510 connection plate, but the entire black top piece that houses the 510 connector). The metal anchor came loose and caused minor chaos to occur when firing which would flare up and resolve itself initially but ended up becoming an issue for the life of the vape, even well after the metal anchor was retrieved from inside the chip housing/ upper void space. The second year of use had intermittent minor issues but was far more enjoyable than any other vape I have owned (btw, I paired the mod with a TFV 16 from SMOK, which was ultimately my favorite when it came to flavor and clouds. other atomizers I used were the CERBERUS Sub-Ohm Tank by Geek Vape- which in all black looked amazing with my mod but ultimately lacked in flavor and power compared to the TFV16- but it looked so good I suffered through it far too long, I also used the freemax fireluke which was nice- better than the CERBERUS “hit-wise” and also looked killer. I thought I preferred it but retrospectively, I was likely just wanting an aesthetic change after always using various SMOK brand tanks because after inheriting a gold TFV16 from the S.O.’s growing collection of tanks I realized that nothing matches the TFV16/TFV18s when it comes to highlighting the sweet tangy flavor of my go-to juice: Guava Kahn) Now back to the mod for which the review is about. By the end of the second year is when problems started. I was frequently having to press the fire key multiple times to get it to fire properly. It was like something was loose inside, although an inspection of the soldering and the screen’s connection to the chip’s circuitry proved otherwise. Now, If you vape like I do and spend any amount of time in a city environment, YOU ARE BOUND TO DROP YOUR VAPE ON CONCRETE… or the tile floor of the bathroom, or something similarly solid and immovable. I know I am not the only one who has starred in bewilderment wondering how I’d managed to send the vape airborne and then crashing down with a violent THWACK! yet the only thing to happen is have the batteries pop out, everything else, glass included, remaining unscathed and in full working order upon re-inserting the batteries. Unfortunately there things inside that fracture and chip with every tumble and dip the mod takes. By early year 3 I had only one anchor still properly seated in the top part and one anchor I could get to set in its broken housing, leaving two (2) screws to affix the top with. Shortly this caused a wonkiness and soon the battery cover on the bottom would pop off randomly. before I knew it I was having to keep something tight around the vape because when I didn’t the top plate or battery cover would come loose, instantly causing the front plate and all the buttons tumbling to the ground. At first a rubber hair-band would suffice, then masking tape, but that didn’t last long because I charge my batteries externally and rotate between 2 pairs of 18650s. Next came the home sewn carrying cases with strap configurations similar to a simple belt made out of webbing and double “D” rings (only micro sized, imagine using a flat drawstring from some joggers as the “belt” part) that ensured it was tightly held together and could be dangled from said string or clipped to a belt loop with a carabinier. which surprising lasted until the last few months of its life. Sadly, one night while it sat on the edge of the tub while I took a nice hot bubble bath it managed to take a splash from my wet arm reaching over it, which must have made contact with exactly the right place because even after quickly disassembling it (which was pretty easy, considering it’s tendency to fall apart…) and drying any visible moisture with dry q-tips and then laying all the parts separately on to dry towels and allowing it to air out overnight (after gently blowing off with compressed air to any non-visible/non-reachable areas) it no longer stays on (though when plugged in while batteries are inserted the screen will light up and the device will boot up but it will not fire , not will it remain powered on without being held just right. SO, FOR THE “DL;DR” VERSION: THE PLASTIC WHICH HELD METAL ANCHORS (WHERE SCREWS ATTACHED THE TOP PLATE TO THE BODY) WAS BRITTLE AND FRACTURED UPON THE FIRST ACCIDENTAL IMPACT. ONE ANCHOR FULLY FAILED AND BECAME LOOSE INSIDE THE BODY OF THE MOD. THIS INCIDENT ALONG WITH THE TENDENCY OF THE PLASTIC TO CHIP AND FRACTURE ON THE INTERIOR OF THE DEVICE ULTIMATELY CAUSED THE DEVICE TO BE UNUSABLE. THE MOD IS BEAUTIFUL, THE CHIP IS AMAZING. MORE THAN MOST PEOPLE NEED. FUN FOR CREATIVES WHO ENJOY UX DESIGN AND FOR SERIOUS VAPERS AND THOSE WHO WILL TAKE THE TIME TO EXPERIMENT. THE AVERAGE USER MIGHT FIND IT EASIER TO GET MORE SATISFYING HITS OUT OF SOMETHING WITH LESS OPTIONS BUT EQUAL POWER. IF YOU WILL USE ALL THE CUSTOMIZATIONS AND YOU ARE OKAY WITH PAYING 4-6 TIMES WHAT YOU WOULD PAY FOR A TOP OF THE LINE 200W SUB OHM CAPABLE (NON 250C DNA) MOD, YOU WILL LOVE IT!** IF YOU WANT AN EASY TO USE VAPE THAT BLOWS BIG CLOUDS OUT THE BOX AND DON’T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMIZATIONS BEYOND: WATTS; TEMP; SOFT, MED, HARD PUFF LEVELS; AND SCREEN COLORS- SAVE YOUR MONEY! THERE ARE THINGS THAT WILL MAKE YOU JUST AS HAPPY AND GIVE YOU FAR LESS BUYER’S REMORSE AFTER REALIZING THIS VAPE WAS MORE THAN YOU REALLY NEEDED. BUT AGAIN, IF YOU WILL USE IT, GET IT- BUT SEARCH FOR COUPONS AND SALES FIRST. i GOT MINE FOR UNDER $150 AFTER A FEW HOURS OF SLEUTHING AND A FEW DOZEN OPEN BROWSER TABS WITH VARIOUS CODES, STORES AND SALES.

I have two of these bad boys, one finally broke after 3-4 years. The bottom hinge came off the other one as well but I got them when they were like 150$. One of my favorite mods I’ve had, I’ve spent 300-400$ on mechs and “high end” devices but none were as easy and comfortable as this one.

This is my new favorite! It is fantastic. Some people say it’s too heavy, but I love the feel. Most others feel cheap. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

This is the only one I use and so far have had zero issues. The only problems would be availability of styles and the high price.
